Are you a Harry Potter fan? If so, we have just the event for you!

This weekend, Friday through Sunday, September 22-24, take a drive to Staunton to take part in the annual street festival, Queen City Mischief & Magic.  The festival kicks off on Friday at 5 p.m.  Saturday, events will start at 9 a.m. and Sunday at 10 a.m. Entry to the street festival is free.  Some events will cost money, as well as the Harry Potter themed food and drinks.

The historic downtown of Staunton is transformed into the village of Hogsmeade! The entire town takes part in this fun weekend event by turning its local businesses into Harry Potter themed stores and restaurants.  There are also hands-on activities throughout the town that are geared for the #1 Harry Potter fans of all ages.

If you decide to spend the weekend immersing yourself into the world of Harry Potter, make sure you come dressed in costume for the full effect! Costumes are very much encouraged for the Queen City Mischief & Magic festival.  You don’t want to be the only one who doesn’t look like they stepped out of a Harry Potter book or movie, right?
